Internap is a leading Internet solutions company which manages, delivers and distributes applications and content with 100% performance and reliability. Internap operates a global platform of data centres, managed Internet services and a Content Delivery Network (CDN).
The Challenge
In order to meet growing global demand for its The Ultimate Online Experience product suite, a rapid expansion of Internap's data centre footprint in Europe was required so it could deliver optimum connectivity across Europe.
The key challenges belcom247 faced with this installation included making sure that the cabling and IT equipment used was compatible with the differing specifications for each European country. Also, the work had to be carried out in a way so as not to compromise on Internap's promise of providing 100% network availability to its customers.
What We Did
We deployed several teams of our highly skilled engineers at short notice to carry out suite build out and cable installation work at Internap's data centre facilities.
Throughout each stage of the project, we listened and confirmed our understanding of Internap's needs. we sourced only materials that met with Internap's stringent specifications and then delivered them to site personally.
In spite of the many hurdles that we had to overcome in meeting the differing local requirements which involved some challenging installation work, the project was finished on time and to budget. In fact,our teams were highly praised by Internap for their flexible approach, depth of knowledge, professionalism and 'can do' attitude seen throughout the project.
